I’m Martin, a Newport Wedding Photographer

This is me, my partner Lorna, and our daughter Lizzie – who despite being taught how to pose since she was born, decided that the photograph destined for this page was the perfect opportunity to pull as many funny faces as she could..!

Choosing your wedding photographer is not an easy task, and you want to make sure that the person you choose is the right fit for you – it’s not just about the style or the look of your photographs, but also how comfortable you feel around the person that’s going to be capturing all those important moments.

I’ve been photographing weddings for over ten years, and in that time I’ve developed my way of shooting into a candid and documentary style that guarantees to capture your photographs in the most natural way possible. The phrase ‘relaxed and unobtrusive’ gets thrown around a lot, and… well, that’s actually pretty accurate for me too! This is your day, and I roll with the flow of it to capture the emotions as they happen naturally. I’m not all about the stealth though – I’ll also be gathering people together for those must-have group shots, and making sure that we have some time away from the crowd to grab some gorgeous images of just the two of you.

This day is not just about the love you have for each other, but also the love you have for all your friends and family that share the day with you, and I would love to be the person that captures this for  you.
